I don't think there is a need for another set of acronyms just for SOF that would only add to confusion

well seals actually have their own lingo..

sample:

uncle sams misguided children - USMC (marines)
Cake eater - Frog Officer
Poodle shooter - m4/car15s/mk18s
regular army - lead booters
carpet heads - green berets
lead wings - army jumper wings
gold wings - navy jump wings (requires 10 water insertion jumps plus reg jump requirement)
ass grabbing - good time, r and r
booger eater - bad guys1
rag heads - arab bad guys
daddy- the one who owns ur ass, your skipper
uncle - ex-o
deep sixed - banish, removed from team, scrapped, dead (rang out)
budweiser - the navy seal trident (seal logo)
Tadpole - FNG, diawe, fresh meat with a budweiser
plank owners - effin 1st members of an outfit
brass - effin higher ups.. those who dish out the missions
toads - all ironed balls, hard dicked seasoned SEALs
swim buddy - your team buddy, shooting partner, the one who gets you out of a mess.
dickweed - any stupid being
jedi - seal team six
duck - zodiac assault RHIB
FUBAR - ****ed up beyond any repair
surface warrior - boat drivers
gondy boys (gondola) - swcc/Special boat crew
cork - protec helmet
pot- mich helmet


(gerald please post the other navy seal lingo, its at the back of the book i lent you..)

Banana - A SEAL trainee or anyone not qualified as a SEAL operator. They're called 'bananas"
because thy're yellow on the outside and squishy on the inside.

Ding - To hit with a bullet. To kill

Dirt Poisoning - The cause of death when your parachute doesn't open.

Helmet-fire - To panic. Also, to be absent minded or to make a mistake.

Tadpole- -an inexperienced operator.
