i have seen some other teams w a page.... and with the computer savav guys in the team im sure we can make a awesome page... and it will be easy to manage!
We don't have an FB page because we dont want other team to actually know who or what Redwing is as part of the mystique, and some team use this site to acquire dossiers of Rival teams during POLSIM(Political simulation) GAMES. If we are going to make it a restricted site, then that is what the current board is all about.
An FB page is only good for announcements, fun pokes and ahem making fun of someone but mission specifics should be kept inside the forum. Besides it's hard to keep track of topics on FB. In our case, we only came up with an FB page due to the inactivity of our forum but we still maintain it.

i also think Facebook pages are hard to keep track of because of the Wall posts. The information just keeps tracking down. Our boards are more organized. Which I like.
What we can do is maybe just make a Fan Page on Facebook that people can "Like" and we can leave it at that.
