Help finding a nice gun for me

Hey guys! I'm fairly new in airsoft. I've been playing a few weekend in KM18 with the green jackets, alfie, rocco and josh. But i still end up borrowing equipment from them.

I was thinking of getting a gun (still thinking) but it has to fit my requirements. Such as light weight and easy for me to carry around. Has to be very mobile.

Also if you have spare gear such ask masks, vests lying around the house. Do post them here so i can take a look. Not for free of course, I'd be more than willing to pay if needed. :)

Thank you in advance guys!

-Andy

xoxo

Hey partner! good to see you on the boards. I'm sure you will find Red Wing a bunch of honest, helpful and RESPECTFUL individuals who would be happy to help you. You can have the mask and vest i gave you. But you might find something better later on.

Or Andy, you can get the official redwing GBBr, the Tanio Koba M4 GBBr. You might want get this model later on so might as well get it now ;)

Check this board: http://redwings.activeboard.com/t43061796/redwing-official-gbbr/ ----> not sure if you have access to this one though.

Else you can check with Rocco about it, he is the one coordinating about this discounted purchase for RW operators.

I also suggest that before you buy your own rifle, go check and test fire Armchairwarrior's Tanio Koba GBBr and someones AEG in one of our Sunday training.
So you can compare and see what you will really like. ;)
You dont want to buy something then later on regret it because you like something else.

Good luck!

I dont think a TK GBBR is something she NEEDS. Get something basic. Something that works and that it is a good starter gun.

Is Andy for real? I believe she's not because her contact no. in her application is xoxo. She did not even read the instructions, therefore i will delete her application because i believe this is a hoax. Tell her to do it again and this time follow the instructions.

Andy,

You just need something that works and is light weight so you don't get tired so fast. Maybe even an M733 Commando

Hi Andy, welcome to RW! The guys here are very helpful when it comes to gears, training and stuff. But hell, I've never seen so much traffic in one thread in so short a time!!! Even more posts than an FTX event! hahah.....Down boys......

Btw, I agree with prophet (Alfie); it's best you try out for yourself the different AEGs and GBBRs our operators use to find the right one suitable for you. An MP5, MP7, M4stubby would probably work out just fine, short and light weight.

Again, welcome and hope to see you out in the field!

Ps. Masungit talaga si Tiger..... =P

wow, andy lugging the 249 would be badass. don't worry about the size of the MG, after a few hours, you'll get used to it and you'll never want to let go.

Get a Tanio Koba. Start strong. :) Plus, you'll have additional man points over Fox.

I agree with Prophet. You can't go wrong with a TK KJW M4 GBBR

kjw_m4_cqb_gbb.jpg

And the man-points over Fox will just be icing on the cake.

the best thing about a gas blow back is you don't have to charge batteries or go through the hassle of patiently wrapping it in plastic when it rains. so it really is a smart buy. don't listen to Fox.

If he has any that don't leak gas, then you can probably borrow a few.

Hahaha...about the KJ mags...after I loaded red gas, it just released it's contents through the charging valve...never happened again but I got curious why...

then I read that green gas has TOO MUCH silicone oil at times and this was the usual result..hahaha...it was not a mag issue pala, it was a gas issue...sorry korn, no problems so far after shooting around a bag of bbs na...

So andy, the KJ Works M4 CQB is a nice good gun...no more charging batteries...nice overall feel...amazing power and accuracy...

Need not tempt. The Tanio Koba designed KJ Works M4 is a good reliable gun, as most forums would say, "best gbbr out of the box.". But you have to hold the gun first before you choose. It is all a matter of preference...you might like the mini panther m4 fox suggested.
