Fox, that rate is a good one already. I got my scuba training last year for P9K, which included 1 weekend classroom and pool session, and another weekend open waters. We rented our own BCDs plus paid for the airtanks (which is one per dive). I highly suggest you invest in a wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and booties. You pee several times underwater and it's better you pee in your own suit.
1. When you dive to about 40ft, your bladder starts to get compressed, along with your lungs, your heart, and other vital organs so you're gonna need to pee. Not to mention that it's freaking cold and the warm pee is a relief.
2. It's better than having to remove all your dive gear, pee, and then put it all back on... while underwater.
I pee in my suit too.

If you feel like crapping in your suit, hold it in...
Old wet suits used to have a hatch in the butt area for that, but seeing as how you'll only be down for roughly 20 minutes max, crapping shouldn't be too much trouble unless you are full of ****. In which case, you shouldn't have gone down.

Hahah.... true that! you can take off your gear but you are definitely going to float without the lead weights. But IF you get to crap in your wetsuit, be ready for schools of fish that are gonna take pieces of your butt
