Hey guys! Any suggestions for a gun mounted video camera? preferaably with atleast 5x zoom and clear enough when watching?

I have been planning to do a scopecam videos for a long time, Im just completing my budget for sony shock, water, dust proof camera.

This guy, Vavann56 from youtube made excellent scopecam vids. One of his many videos: (note, the first target looks like rocco)



His newly uploaded videos are better, check his channel. Check my channel too for other subscription for scopecams.

;) Original plan to have this on AR2 but seems it wont materialize, maybe before end of year hehehe.

Check vavann56's video descriptions on how he mounted it.  I plan to do the same set-up. =)

The Go pro can be mounted but it doesn't have a zoom function. it has a fish eye type lens. I tried it with mine and it is good but to a certain range pag malayo hindi mo na kita up to say 50 ft. kaya.

Hmmm.. pwede siguro digicam na maliit. DIY mounted left on 5x zoom tapos post prod the crosshair?

The problem with just a digicam is its durability with all the shaking crawling and etc. And you will be all conscious about it. It may affect performance.. Anyway I went ahead and purchased the Contour Roam. I have an idea for its zoom which i may need your help in. I shall post na din a review about it once i receive it. I'll post na din a review about ordering from amazon and having it brought here directly as I worry about customs.

i used my GO PRO on my gun. i just mounted it too my AIM point using the bike handle mount.... but unless ur keeping ur gun up at all times u get alot of time looking at the ground as u run around...
